Listvana LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a Chrome Extension and web application designed exclusively for Etsy sellers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Listvana Chrome Extension, visit our website at https://listvana.app, or interact with any of our services (collectively, the "Service").
By installing the Listvana Chrome Extension or using any part of our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Plain English Summary: We collect only what we need to make Listvana work for you. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Your Etsy data belongs to you and is used only to power the tools you explicitly use within Listvana.

Listvana LLC is an independent software company that develops and operates Listvana as a commercial product. Our service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Etsy, Inc. We are a third-party developer that integrates with the Etsy API under Etsy's API Terms of Use.

Information We Collect
3.1 Account & Authentication Information
When you create a Listvana account, we collect:
- Email address (used for login, billing communications, and service notices)
- Authentication tokens issued by our identity provider (Clerk)
- Account creation timestamp
- Subscription plan tier (free, starter, pro, or elite)
We use Clerk for authentication. Your password is never stored by Listvana directly - it is managed entirely by Clerk's secure infrastructure.
3.2 Payment Information
Listvana uses Stripe to process all payments. We do not store, see, or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details at any point. Stripe stores this information on their PCI-DSS compliant servers. We retain only:
- Your Stripe Customer ID (a reference token, not payment data)
- Your Stripe Subscription ID
- Your current subscription plan and status
3.3 Usage Data
We collect limited operational data to enforce plan limits and improve the Service:
- Number of AI feature calls made per day (to enforce daily limits per plan tier)
- The date of the last AI usage reset
- Error reports submitted to our error monitoring provider (Sentry), which may include browser type, extension version, and a description of the error - but never personal content
3.4 Email Subscription (Optional)
If you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter or product updates through the Listvana welcome screen or account settings, we collect your email address and add it to our mailing list managed by Brevo. This is entirely optional and you may unsubscribe at any time.
3.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
Etsy Data Access
Listvana integrates with the Etsy API to provide seller tools. This section explains exactly what Etsy data we access, why we access it, and how it is handled.
4.1 OAuth Authorization
To access your Etsy data, you must explicitly authorize Listvana through Etsy's official OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. This means:
- You will be redirected to Etsy's own website to grant permission
- You will see exactly which permissions Listvana is requesting before approving
- You can revoke this authorization at any time from your Etsy account settings
- Listvana never sees your Etsy username or password
4.2 Data We Access via the Etsy API

4.3 What We Do NOT Do With Etsy Data
- We do not store raw Etsy listing content on our servers beyond what is temporarily needed to process an AI request
- We do not access data from Etsy buyers (their personal information, addresses, or payment info)
- We do not share your Etsy data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes
- We do not use your Etsy data to train AI models
- We do not scrape Etsy in violation of their Terms of Service
Important: Listvana acts as a service provider to you (the seller). Any Etsy data accessed through the API is processed solely to deliver the tools you use. You remain in full control of your Etsy authorization and can revoke it at any time.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect exclusively for the following purposes:
- Provide the Service - To operate Listvana, process your requests, generate AI-powered insights, and deliver the features you use
- Authentication - To verify your identity, maintain your session, and secure your account
- Billing & Subscriptions - To manage your subscription plan, process payments via Stripe, and enforce your plan's feature limits
- Plan Enforcement - To track your daily AI usage and ensure compliance with your subscription tier
- Service Communications - To send you essential account notices, billing receipts, and important service updates
- Optional Marketing - If you opt in, to send product news and tips via Brevo. You can unsubscribe at any time
- Error Monitoring & Improvement - To detect, diagnose, and fix bugs using anonymized error reports via Sentry
- Legal Compliance - To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose not listed above.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law:
- Account data (email, plan, Stripe IDs) - Retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after account deletion, to handle any billing disputes
- AI usage counters - Reset daily; raw counters are not archived
- Etsy listing content processed by AI - Not stored; processed transiently and discarded immediately after the AI response is returned
- Error logs (Sentry) - Retained for 90 days per Sentry's default policy
- Email subscription data (Brevo) - Retained until you unsubscribe
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days.
Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Our security measures include:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser, the Chrome Extension, and our servers
- Encrypted API key storage - any API keys stored locally are encrypted before being saved to Chrome storage
- Bearer token authentication - all API calls from the extension require a valid, short-lived Clerk JWT token
- Server-side AI proxying - the Anthropic Claude API is only called from our server, never directly from your browser, preventing API key exposure
- Rate limiting - our server enforces request rate limits to prevent abuse
- Access controls - our Oracle Cloud server and SQLite database are protected by firewall rules and SSH key authentication
- No sensitive data in URLs - we never transmit personal information as URL parameters
While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Listvana account and to keep your browser and extension up to date.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in compliance with applicable law.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Listvana is a professional tool designed for adult Etsy sellers. International Data Transfers
Listvana operates servers hosted on Oracle Cloud infrastructure. Your data may be processed and stored in data centers located outside your country of residence. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these facilities.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we ensure that any transfers of personal data outside those regions are conducted with appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR, including reliance on standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Canadian users: Our data practices are consistent with the requirements of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
